Teplom zmršťovacia bužírka CellPack 148840, dĺžka 100 cm, 1 ks

CellPack 148840 is a heat-shrink tubing designed for electrical insulation and cable protection. Supplied as a single 100 cm piece, the tubing provides reliable mechanical protection, moisture resistance and electrical insulation for repair, maintenance and installation tasks. The product combines a medium wall thickness with a thermoplastic adhesive lining and material properties tailored for demanding applications where flexibility, chemical resistance and UV stability are required.

Advantages

The tubing features a medium wall construction with an inner thermoplastic adhesive that forms a tight seal around cables and joints when heated. It is inscribable for marking, resistant to a wide range of chemical agents and stabilized against UV exposure to maintain performance in outdoor and harsh environments. The material is non-corrosive, infusible and self-extinguishing, offering good electrical properties, high tensile strength and resistance to cold flow for durable strain relief and insulation.

Suitable for

• Insulating cable joints and terminations
• Protecting wires from abrasion and moisture
• Providing strain relief on connectors and soldered joints
• Outdoor wiring and installations exposed to UV
• Repairing damaged sleeving or insulation on power and signal cables

Key specifications

• Material type: cross-linked heat-shrink polymer with thermoplastic adhesive lining
• Wall: medium wall thickness
• Length: 100 cm (single piece)
• Adhesive: thermoplastic hot-melt lining for sealing against moisture
• Marking: inscribable surface suitable for permanent marking
• Chemical resistance: resistant to common chemical agents
• UV stability: stabilized against ultraviolet degradation
• Flammability: self-extinguishing behavior
• Mechanical: high flexibility and high tensile strength
• Thermal behavior: resistant to cold flow / thermally stable

How to use

Slide the heat-shrink tubing over the cable or joint so the damaged or uninsulated section is centered within the tube. Apply uniform heat using a heat gun, hot air tool or an appropriate heat source while rotating the assembly for even shrinkage. Heat until the tubing contracts uniformly and the thermoplastic adhesive flows to form a continuous seal against the substrate. Allow the assembly to cool to ambient temperature before handling to ensure the adhesive and polymer have set.

Recommendations

For best results, select a tubing diameter slightly larger than the component before shrinking to ensure full coverage after heat application. Use a temperature-controlled heat gun to avoid overheating; follow safety guidelines for working with hot tools. Where long-term outdoor exposure is expected, inspect installations periodically for mechanical wear despite UV stabilization. Other lengths are available on request; standard spools may include sections tied together.
