TP-Link Archer AX80 WLAN router Gigabit Ethernet Dual-Band (2,4 GHz / 5 GHz) čierny

The TP-Link Archer AX80 Dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 tabletop router delivers up to 5952 Mbit/s total wireless throughput by combining dual-band Wi‑Fi with Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology. It supports multi-gig wired connections with a 2.5 Gbps port and a 1 Gbps port (WAN/LAN flexible), a 2.0 GHz quad-core CPU with ample RAM, and enhanced coverage from multiple high-performance antennas. The router includes advanced security features such as WPA3 and TP‑Link HomeShield, and supports VPN client and server functions (OpenVPN, PPTP, L2TP) for remote access and network flexibility.

Advantages

The Archer AX80 offers high combined wireless speeds and reduced congestion via eight simultaneous data streams, enabling better performance when multiple devices are active. Multi-gig wired ports allow full use of high-speed ISP connections and flexible WAN/LAN configuration. A powerful quad-core processor and generous memory maintain low latency under heavy load, while beamforming and multiple antennas expand coverage. Built-in security and VPN support provide a secure and flexible networking environment.

How to use

Place the Archer AX80 on a stable tabletop location with central placement for best coverage and connect it to your modem using the WAN port or configure the 2.5 Gbps/1 Gbps ports according to your network plan. Use the Tether mobile app or the web management interface to run the initial setup wizard, configure SSIDs for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, set administrative credentials, and enable security features like WPA3 and HomeShield. To use VPN services, configure the desired VPN client or server settings in the router UI and apply them to target devices or the whole network.

Recommendations

Place the router elevated and away from large metal objects or sources of interference; enable auto firmware updates (OTA) to keep security and features current, and assign bandwidth‑sensitive devices to the 5 GHz band or wired ports for optimal performance.
