How to use

Connect the USB A end to a computer or powered USB hub and the Micro-USB B (Micro-B 5‑Pin) end to your camera or compatible device. Ensure connectors are aligned before insertion to avoid damage. For tethered shooting, position the cable so it does not obstruct movement and secure it with cable retention devices if needed. If extending beyond 15 ft (4.6 m), use USB 2.0 active extension cables to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For distances greater than 15 ft, use a USB 2.0 active extension (available in 5, 9.7, 15 or 20 m lengths) to preserve signal quality and minimize noise; total reliable tethered length can reach up to 24 m (80 ft) using active extensions per USB specifications.
