Vodný chladič + backplate Phanteks Glacier G40 akryl meď čierny transparentný

The Phanteks Glacier G40 Acrylic Copper Black Transparent water block with matching backplate is engineered for high-performance GPU cooling. Constructed from acrylic and copper, it delivers direct contact cooling for modern graphics cards while showcasing internal coolant flow through a transparent top. The integrated backplate helps improve heat dissipation and provides structural support. With external dimensions of 353.2 mm width, 190 mm depth and 70 mm height, the unit is sized to fit many high-end GPU layouts and custom loop configurations.

Advantages

The combination of a copper cold plate and an acrylic top offers efficient thermal transfer alongside visual clarity for custom liquid loops. The included backplate aids passive heat spreading across the PCB and reinforces card mounting. The design supports high coolant flow and low restriction, while the transparent areas allow monitoring of coolant and flow direction. Physical dimensions are specified to assist compatibility checks with chassis, radiators and other loop components.

Suitable for

• Custom liquid-cooled gaming PCs and enthusiast workstations
• High-performance GPU cooling in overclocked systems
• Showcase builds where visible coolant flow and aesthetics matter
• Systems requiring a combined water block and structural backplate

Key specifications

• Materials: acrylic (top), copper (cold plate)
• Finish: black and transparent elements
• Overall dimensions: 353.2 mm (W) × 190 mm (D) × 70 mm (H)
• Cooling type: full-cover GPU water block with integrated backplate
• Connection: G1/4-compatible fittings (standard liquid cooling thread)

How to use

Prepare the GPU by removing the factory cooler and cleaning the GPU surface from thermal compound and debris. Position the Glacier G40 water block onto the GPU so the copper cold plate aligns with the GPU die and memory/choke areas as required by the block design, then secure using the supplied mounting hardware, ensuring even torque across mounting points. Connect inlet and outlet fittings compatible with your loop using G1/4 threads and verify there are no contact points between the block assembly and adjacent components in the chassis. After installation, perform a leak test on the loop before powering the system.

Recommendations

Use compatible thermal interface materials and follow manufacturer torque specifications for mounting screws; perform a pressure and leak test at low pump speed for at least 30 minutes before full operation. Ensure coolant is compatible with acrylic and copper components to avoid corrosion or clouding, and route tubes to minimize kinks and stress on fittings.
