Sieťový kábel Goobay 25 m CAT 5-2500 UTP

The Goobay 25m CAT 5-2500 UTP networking cable provides a 25-metre long, unshielded twisted pair connection conforming to the Cat5e standard and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for data transmission in home and office networks, the cable is supplied in black and supports typical Ethernet applications where Cat5e performance is required. The construction balances flexibility and durability for runs between switches, routers and end devices over medium distances.

Advantages

The cable offers a continuous 25 m reach for flexible placement of network equipment without intermediate couplers. Cat5e specification ensures support for Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet over appropriate network hardware. The UTP design provides standard unshielded twisted pair performance suitable for most indoor installations, while the RJ-45 terminations enable plug-and-play connectivity with common network ports. The black jacket provides a discreet appearance and basic protection against wear in typical indoor environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, printers and networked devices to switches or routers over a 25 m distance
• Wiring small office and home network segments
• Temporary or permanent Ethernet runs in cupboards, under desks or along walls
• Use in patching between wall outlets and patch panels where Cat5e is acceptable

Key specifications

• Length: 25 metres
• Cable category: Cat5e (CAT 5-2500 compliant)
• Cable type: UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Black
• Intended use: Ethernet data transmission (Fast/Gigabit over suitable hardware)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your router, switch or modem and the other plug to the network port of the destination device such as a PC, NAS or printer. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks and high-tension points; use cable clips or channels where required for a neat installation. If running alongside power cables, maintain separation to reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the Goobay 25m CAT 5-2500 UTP cable within typical indoor environments and avoid exposure to moisture and prolonged UV. For runs longer than 25 m between active devices, consider using switches or higher-category cabling if higher bandwidth or reduced interference is needed.
