Sieťový kábel Goobay 68696 RJ-45 Cat6 2 m čierny

The Goobay 68696 networking cable is a 2 m Cat6 patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. It has S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and a halogen-free (LSZH) outer sheath. Both ends feature RJ-45 connectors with gold plating and copper conductors for stable, low-loss signal transfer.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding and high-quality copper conductor provide reliable protection against crosstalk and external interference, ensuring stable connections at Gigabit speeds. The LSZH sheath reduces harmful emissions in case of fire and the gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The 2 m length and black finish make the cable practical for typical desktop, patch panel and small office setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home networks
• Patch connections in small office and server rack environments
• Gaming consoles and media players requiring stable wired connections

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Length: 2 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually braided pairs)
• Conductor material: copper (CU)
• Outer sheath: halogen-free (LSZH)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network ports on devices such as computers, switches, routers or patch panels. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; keep it separated from heavy power cables where possible to minimize interference. For structured cabling, label both ends if required and test the link with appropriate network testers to verify signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable within its specified length for Gigabit Ethernet runs, avoid tight bends near the connectors, and keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as high-power motors or fluorescent ballast units.
