WLAN router Totolink BE5100R Dualband 4x GbE RJ45 1x 2,5GbE RJ45

The TOTOLINK BE5100R WiFi Router is a dual-band WiFi7 device that combines high-speed wireless performance with multiple wired connection options. It offers four Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports and one 2.5GbE RJ45 port to support high-bandwidth wired devices while delivering stable wireless coverage across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. The router is designed for home and small office environments where gaming, streaming and smart home devices require consistent throughput and simple integration into existing networks.

Advantages

Dual-band WiFi7 provides simultaneous operation on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, increasing overall throughput and device capacity while helping to reduce interference for compatible devices.

The dedicated 2.5GbE RJ45 port supplies higher-than-gigabit wired throughput for NAS units, gaming PCs or high-speed uplinks, and the four Gigabit Ethernet ports accommodate common wired devices without needing an additional switch. The BE5100R is built to maintain stable connections for multiple users and concurrent applications such as video streaming, online gaming and smart home control, and it uses standard Ethernet interfaces and familiar setup flows for straightforward replacement or upgrade of existing routers.

Suitable for

• Home networks with multiple streaming and gaming devices
• Small office/home office (SOHO) environments requiring reliable wired and wireless connectivity
• Devices needing higher-than-gigabit wired throughput (NAS, high-performance PCs)
• Smart home setups with many connected sensors and hubs

Key specifications

• Wireless standard: WiFi7, dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz)
• Wired interfaces: 4 × Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) RJ45, 1 × 2.5GbE RJ45
• Antenna and coverage: designed for typical home and small office coverage (internal/external antenna design as provided by manufacturer)
• Concurrent device support: supports multiple simultaneous clients for streaming, gaming and smart devices
• Physical form factor: tabletop router intended for indoor use

How to use

Place the router centrally in the area where you need broad wireless coverage, avoiding large metal objects and sources of radio interference. Connect the internet source (modem or WAN) to the router’s WAN port, use the 2.5GbE RJ45 port when a higher-capacity wired uplink or device connection is required, and connect other wired devices to the four Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports. Power the router on and open a web browser on a connected device; follow the quick start guide address to access the web setup interface and configure your internet connection, create separate SSIDs for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz as needed, and apply basic security settings.

Recommendations

Use the 2.5GbE RJ45 port for devices that require sustained high throughput (for example NAS, gaming PC or a high-speed uplink) and keep router firmware up to date to maintain security and compatibility.

Position the router in an elevated, unobstructed location and avoid placing it inside cabinets. For latency-sensitive tasks such as competitive gaming, prefer wired connections to reduce jitter and packet loss. Configure the strongest security protocol supported by your devices and change default administrative passwords after initial setup. Periodically check for firmware updates and review device priorities when adding bandwidth-heavy devices to the network.
