How to use

Connect the GS-105B v3 to your router or existing network using one of the Gigabit RJ-45 ports, then plug other network devices such as IP phones, NAS, PCs or laptops into the remaining ports. The switch is unmanaged and requires no configuration—it will automatically negotiate link speed and duplex settings. Use the designated high- and medium-priority QoS ports for devices that need more stable VoIP or data performance.

Recommendations

For optimal energy savings and performance, place the switch where cable runs are as short as practical and connect latency-sensitive devices (IP phones, streaming/network storage) to the QoS-priority ports. Ensure proper ventilation around the metal housing and mount on a wall if desktop space is limited.
