3M 40041950 montážna páska/etiketa 5 m

3M 40041950 mounting tape is a transparent adhesive tape designed for secure, low-profile attachment of lightweight items. The roll measures 5 m in length and 19 mm in width, offering a continuous strip of pressure-sensitive adhesive that bonds quickly to a variety of clean, dry surfaces. Supplied as a single roll per pack, this mounting tape is suitable for tasks where a near-invisible bond is desired and where moderate holding strength is required.

Advantages

The transparent construction makes the tape visually unobtrusive on most surfaces while providing consistent adhesion across its length. Its pressure-sensitive adhesive is formulated for reliable initial tack and steady long-term grip on materials such as paper, plastics, glass and painted substrates. The narrow 19 mm width allows for precise application along edges, label backs or small mounting points without excess visible residue.

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, grease or loose particles before application. Cut or tear the required length of tape from the roll, press firmly onto the object or label, then apply the object to the target surface with steady pressure to promote adhesion. For best results, allow adhesive to set for several minutes; avoid heavy loading immediately after application. Removal may require careful peeling and, if residue remains, use a recommended adhesive remover suitable for the surface.

Recommendations

Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve adhesive performance. Test on an inconspicuous area before applying to sensitive or painted surfaces. Not intended for heavy loads, structural mounting or high-temperature environments; choose a product with higher shear strength if permanent or load-bearing attachment is required.
