3M SecureFit X5512V-CE-4 vetraná bezpečnostná prilba s UV indikátorom, čierna, EN 397

On a busy construction site or inside a manufacturing plant, head protection must be reliable, comfortable, and easy to wear all day. The 3M SecureFit X5512V-CE-4 vented safety helmet delivers exactly that. Its modern low-profile shell in black is made from durable ABS and features ventilation channels to help keep you cool in warm conditions. A built-in 3M UVicator sensor changes colour when the shell has been exposed to excessive UV radiation, letting you know when it’s time to replace the helmet. The 4-point ratchet suspension with 3M Pressure Diffusion Technology reduces pressure points and provides a secure, personalised fit for head circumferences from 50 to 64 cm.

Why choose it

The X5512V-CE-4 stands out with its integrated UV sensor, which provides a clear visual cue for replacement—helping you maintain compliance and worker safety. The vented design improves air circulation, reducing heat build-up during long shifts. 3M’s Pressure Diffusion Technology distributes the helmet’s weight evenly, minimising pressure points and enhancing comfort. The low-profile shape offers a modern look and better compatibility with other PPE, such as ear muffs and visors.

Ideal use cases

• Construction sites, especially outdoor work in sunny or warm conditions
• General industrial environments requiring EN 397 head protection
• Maintenance and repair tasks where ventilation is beneficial
• Workers needing a helmet that signals UV degradation for timely replacement

Good to know

The helmet is supplied without a chin strap; 3M offers compatible 4-point chin straps as accessories. The UVicator sensor is located on the shell and changes from red to white as UV exposure accumulates. Always follow the manufacturer’s inspection and replacement guidelines. The helmet meets the requirements of EN 397:2012+A1:2012, including shock absorption, penetration resistance, and flame resistance (optional). It is not electrically insulating and should not be used where electrical hazards are present.
