• Small Brother printers and label makers that accept an 18V, 1.5A DC input
• Home office and small business printing setups
• Replacing a lost or damaged original power adapter
• Temporary or permanent power solution for compatible Brother electronics

Key specifications

• Output voltage: 18V DC
• Output current: 1.5A
• Power type: external AC-to-DC adapter
• Designed use: power supply for compatible Brother devices
• Typical protections: overcurrent and short-circuit protection (design dependent)

How to use

Connect the adapter to the device’s DC input jack that is specified for an 18V/1.5A supply. Plug the adapter into a properly grounded AC mains outlet or an outlet that meets local electrical codes. Ensure the polarity and connector size match the device’s input specifications before powering on. After connection, power on the Brother device and verify normal operation; if the device does not power up, recheck the connector fit and wall outlet. Disconnect the adapter from the mains before unplugging from the device.

Recommendations

Use the adapter indoors in dry environments and avoid exposure to moisture, extreme temperatures, or direct sunlight. Verify device compatibility with an 18V/1.5A supply and inspect the connector and cable for damage regularly. If unusual noise, smell, or heat occurs, disconnect the adapter immediately and consult a qualified technician.
