Flat telephone cable ACT White 1 meter RJ11 RJ45 is a 1 m connection cable with RJ11 and RJ45 connectors designed for linking telephones, modems and telephone adapters. The cable uses the RJ45 contacts 3, 4, 5 and 6 to carry the telephone signal and features a slim, flat profile that fits under carpets and along skirting boards or behind equipment where space is limited.

Advantages

The ACT flat telephone cable provides a compact, low-profile design that simplifies routing in confined spaces. Its universal RJ11–RJ45 compatibility allows connection between traditional telephone handsets, fax/modem devices and adapter boxes. The 1 m length offers convenient placement without excess slack, and the white finish matches common office and home interiors.

Suitable for

• Connecting desk telephones to wall sockets or adapters
• Linking external modems or fax machines to telephone lines
• Connecting telephone adapter boxes to network outlets using RJ45

How to use

Insert the RJ11 plug into the telephone or fax/modem device and the RJ45 plug into the wall outlet or telephone adapter port. Ensure the RJ45 jack supports telephone wiring on pins 3–6; if necessary, verify pinout with the network outlet or adapter documentation. Route the flat cable along skirting boards or under carpets for a neat installation and avoid tight bends that could stress the conductors.

Recommendations

For reliable signal transmission, avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power cables and protect the connectors from excessive pulling. If connecting to a structured network socket, confirm that the socket maps the telephone pair correctly to RJ45 pins 3–6.
