Ajax FireProtect 2 RB teplo dym CO čierny 1700m batéria

FireProtect 2 RB is a compact multi-sensor detector combining heat, smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) sensing for residential fire safety. The device features a built-in 85 dB siren, long-lasting battery options, secure two-way wireless communication, and compatibility with Ajax hubs and apps for remote monitoring and configuration. The detector is designed for fast alarm propagation across a system and meets contemporary residential fire safety standards.

Advantages

FireProtect 2 provides stable performance and long battery life with options to fit different market needs. The detector warns about low battery at least 30 days before full discharge via app notifications, LED indication and audible beeps. It has a powerful 85 dB siren and synchronized interconnection logic that triggers system-wide alarms faster than standard requirements. Secure two-way radio communication with encryption and authentication reduces risk of interference or sabotage, and an extended wireless range (up to 1700 m in open space) supports flexible installation. The device is ready to use out of the box and is maintenance-free thanks to automatic self-tests and remote configuration through Ajax apps.

How to use

Install FireProtect 2 on a ceiling or high on a wall following local regulations for placement of smoke, heat and CO detectors. Mount the detector on the supplied SmartBracket without disassembling the unit; the bracket allows leveling at 90° angles after fixing. Add the device to your Ajax system via the Ajax app for remote monitoring and settings, or use the detector standalone if a hub is not available. Test the detector through the app or by pressing the front panel to verify correct operation. The detector will perform automatic self-tests and report its status to the hub.

Recommendations

Place FireProtect 2 in sleeping areas, hallways that lead to bedrooms, and other locations specified by local fire safety guidelines. Avoid installing the detector too close to cooking appliances to reduce false alarms from normal cooking fumes, and keep vents or large airflows from directly blowing into the detector. Regularly check app notifications for low-battery alerts and test the device periodically to ensure reliable operation.
