Ajax MotionProtect Outdoor PIR senzor bezdrôtový strop stena biela

The Ajax MotionProtect Outdoor is a wireless passive infrared (PIR) motion detector designed for outdoor use. Suitable for ceiling or wall mounting, the detector provides a 90° detection angle and up to 15 m range. It integrates advanced algorithms and an anti-masking system to reduce false alarms and detect tampering, while using the Jeweller radio protocol for fast, reliable communication with the hub.

Advantages

The detector uses a two-step analysis algorithm (LISA) combining correlation and spectral analysis of signals from two PIR sensors to distinguish real human motion from environmental noise such as wind, moving foliage, animals or insects. An intelligent anti-masking system automatically calibrates during installation and detects objects placed over sensors or attempts to paint them; a tamper switch notifies of removal from the SmartBracket. Jeweller two-way radio communication ensures alarm delivery in under 0.15 seconds at distances up to 1,700 m with authentication and encryption. The device operates on CR123A batteries for up to 5 years and supports external power for extended autonomy in extreme conditions.

Suitable for

• Perimeter protection of residential properties
• Outdoor areas of commercial premises
• Garden and yard monitoring
• Entrances, gates and driveways

How to use

Mount the MotionProtect Outdoor on a suitable ceiling or wall using the SmartBracket plate and allow the device to auto-calibrate its anti-masking sensors during installation. Connect the detector to the Ajax hub by scanning the QR code with a smartphone camera and complete tests and configuration via the Ajax app. For reliable detection and minimal false alarms, position the detector considering expected human paths and potential sources of interference.

Recommendations

Installation of outdoor detectors requires professional assessment of landscape, approach routes and possible interference. For optimal performance and correct placement, contact an Ajax Certified Partner or qualified installation engineer.
