Akumulátorový hoblík DeWalt DCE6820N-XJ 18V bezuhlíkový motor 82 mm šírka hoblíka

The DeWalt DCE6820N-XJ cordless planer is an 18V brushless tool with an 82 mm cutting width, designed for trimming, levelling and smoothing timber surfaces. Its brushless motor improves runtime and reduces maintenance compared with brushed designs, while the compact 82 mm sole supports precise edge work and small- to medium-scale carpentry tasks. The tool is battery-powered for portable operation on job sites, renovation projects and furniture adjustments.

Advantages

The brushless motor provides increased efficiency and longer run time under load while requiring less maintenance. The 82 mm cutting width balances manoeuvrability and coverage for common woodworking tasks. Its cordless design removes the need for a power outlet and reduces trip hazards on site. Ergonomic handling and a lightweight build help maintain control during extended use, and integrated features for depth adjustment enable consistent, repeatable cuts.

Suitable for

• On-site carpentry and joinery work
• Trimming doors, frames and mouldings
• Leveling and smoothing timber surfaces
• Furniture fitting and adjustments
• Renovation and repair tasks requiring portable planing

Key specifications

• Power type: 18V cordless (battery-powered)
• Motor type: brushless for improved efficiency and runtime
• Cutting width: 82 mm suitable for edge and surface planing
• Intended use: hand-held planer for timber trimming, levelling and smoothing
• Design features: depth adjustment mechanism and compact sole for precision work

How to use

Secure the workpiece and ensure a stable, supported surface before planing. Adjust the depth setting to the required removal thickness and check that blades are correctly installed and tightened. Hold the planer with both hands, align the sole with the workpiece edge or surface, and feed the tool steadily along the grain to reduce tear-out. Make multiple light passes for accurate material removal rather than attempting deep cuts in a single pass. Follow manufacturer guidance for blade care and replacement intervals.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection and dust extraction where possible. For best results with the DeWalt 18V brushless planer, use sharp, compatible blades and perform finishing passes at a shallow depth. Match battery capacity to the expected workload to maintain consistent performance during longer tasks.
