How to use

Before use, fit a compatible 18 V Black & Decker battery (sold separately) according to the battery mounting guide and ensure the battery is fully charged. Select the appropriate drill or screwdriver bit and secure it in the chuck. Set the drill to the appropriate speed and torque setting for the material and fastener you are working with. When drilling or driving screws, apply steady pressure and keep the drill perpendicular to the work surface to ensure straight holes and secure fastenings. After use, remove the battery and store the drill and battery in a dry, ventilated place.

Recommendations

Use drill bits and screws matched to the material (wood, drywall, metal) and avoid over-torquing fasteners. For prolonged tasks, rotate between batteries from the same 18 V system to maintain consistent performance. Inspect bits and the chuck regularly and replace worn accessories to maintain safe and efficient operation.
