The Yamaha GL1TBS is a compact 433 mm scale guitalele with six nylon strings in medium gauge. With overall dimensions of 698 mm length, 229 mm width and 70 mm depth, this brown instrument combines portability and comfortable playability. It is supplied with a gig bag for easy transport.

How to use

Tune the guitalele to standard guitalele tuning (typically A–D–G–C–E–A, a fourth higher than standard guitar) or to the tuning you prefer. Hold and play it like a small classical guitar, using fingerstyle or a pick. Regularly check string tension and tune before playing; nylon strings require a short break-in period and may stretch initially. Store the instrument in the provided gig bag when not in use to protect it from dust and bumps.

Recommendations

For best results, use a humidified case in dry climates, change strings periodically according to playing frequency, and have the instrument set up by a technician if you notice action or intonation issues.
