Analógový syntetizátor Behringer KOBOL Expander modul – rozširujúci modul pre montáž do racku

Behringer KOBOL Expander is an analog synthesizer expansion module designed to extend the KOBOL synthesizer family. The rack-mountable expander adds additional sound-shaping options and physical controls for integration into studio racks or modular setups. It provides extra oscillation and modulation possibilities without requiring a full standalone instrument, making it suitable for both production and live contexts where compact, hands-on sound design is needed.

Advantages

The expander offers true analog signal paths for warm, characterful tones and integrates seamlessly with compatible KOBOL devices and modular gear. Physical knobs and jacks allow tactile control and quick patching. Its rack-friendly form factor saves space while adding significant tonal flexibility, and the unit is engineered for low-latency, immediate response appropriate for live performance and studio automation.

Suitable for

• Studio sound design and synthesis expansion
• Live performance setups requiring additional analog voices
• Modular rigs and rack systems needing extra modulation sources
• Producers seeking compact hardware to complement existing synths

Key specifications

• Analog audio path with multiple oscillation and modulation controls
• Rack-mountable module format for standard studio racks
• Hands-on control layout with front-panel knobs and input/output jacks
• Designed for integration with KOBOL family instruments and modular setups
• Low-latency performance suitable for studio and live use

How to use

Mount the expander in a compatible rack or position it alongside your KOBOL main unit. Connect audio outputs and modulation CV or gate signals using the front-panel jacks to integrate it with your existing synth or modular system. Use the front-panel knobs to shape oscillators, filters and modulation depth; combine with your main synthesizer voice to create layered textures or route modulation sources to alter timbre in real time.

Recommendations

For stable operation, ensure proper power and signal routing when integrating with other rack or modular equipment. Start with unity gain levels and adjust filter and modulation controls while monitoring output to avoid clipping. Use the expander to add analog warmth and complexity to patches created on your main KOBOL unit or within modular setups.
