Anténny kábel Poynting A-CAB-122, 3 m predlžovací s FAKRA konektorom

Poynting A-CAB-122 is a 3 meter antenna extension cable fitted with a FAKRA connector designed for extending antenna connections in vehicles and telecom installations. The cable provides a direct physical link between antenna and equipment when additional length is needed for repositioning, maintenance or integration without modifying existing devices. The construction is intended for reliable signal transmission over a short extension distance where a FAKRA interface is required.

Advantages

The extension cable offers a standardized FAKRA connection that preserves polarity and secure locking for automotive and telecom applications. At three meters length it enables greater installation flexibility while maintaining signal integrity for typical mobile and fixed antenna systems. The cable design supports straightforward plug-and-play use and reduces the need to relocate antennas or equipment during repair or reconfiguration.

Suitable for

• Extending vehicle antenna connections where a FAKRA interface is present
• Temporary or permanent relocation of telecom or mobile antennas
• On-site installations, repairs and diagnostics requiring extra cable length
• Integrating antennas into enclosures or dashboards while keeping the connector accessible

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 meters
• Connector type: FAKRA on one end (compatible with corresponding FAKRA sockets)
• Use case: antenna extension for vehicle and telecom systems
• Construction: shielded coaxial extension designed for short-distance signal transfer

How to use

Connect the FAKRA connector to the matching FAKRA socket on the antenna or device until the locking mechanism engages. Route the cable along a secure path, avoiding sharp bends, excessive tension, and sources of heat or abrasion. Connect the opposite end to the device or antenna port requiring extension, ensuring both connection points are clean and free from debris before mating. Verify the signal and mechanical fit after installation and secure the cable with appropriate clamps or ties to prevent movement.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-distance extensions only and avoid exposing connectors to prolonged moisture or contaminants. When used in vehicles, secure the cable away from moving components and high-temperature surfaces. If signal loss or intermittent connection is observed, inspect connector seating and cable routing before replacing components.
