AOC kábel Ubiquiti UACC-AOC-QSFP28-30M 30 m OM3 QSFP28

The Ubiquiti UACC-AOC-QSFP28-30M is a 30-meter active optical cable (AOC) with OM3 multimode fiber and QSFP28 connectors at both ends. It supports up to 100 Gbps data rates and is engineered for reliable high-speed interconnects in data centers and enterprise networks, providing a low-latency connection between switches, servers, and storage equipment.

Advantages

This AOC delivers a 100 Gbps maximum data rate over a 30 m OM3 fiber link, combining the low attenuation and immunity to electromagnetic interference of optical fiber with the convenience of a direct-attach QSFP28 form factor. The pre-terminated cable simplifies installation, reduces cabling complexity, and eliminates the need for separate transceivers while ensuring consistent signal integrity for short- to mid-range links.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between 100GbE QSFP28 switches in data centers
• Connections from servers to top-of-rack or spine switches
• High-performance storage networking and aggregation links
• Environments requiring compact, low-power optical links over distances up to 30 m

How to use

Verify that both network ports support QSFP28 and 100GbE operation. Align each QSFP28 connector with the corresponding port and insert until it seats securely; most QSFP28 ports include a latch or eject mechanism—use it according to the switch or device documentation. After connection, check link status on the connected devices and configure interfaces as required by your network setup.

Recommendations

Handle the cable by the connector housings and avoid sharp bends; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the manufacturer. Use this OM3 AOC for short- to mid-range 100GbE links (up to 30 m) inside racks or across adjacent racks in a data center. Confirm compatibility with device firmware and QSFP28 port specifications before deployment.
