Position the cabinet on a level area and adjust the feet to ensure the rack is stable. Remove side panels as required to allow easy access for mounting rails, shelves and equipment. Install standard 19-inch rack-mounted servers, switches and PDUs using the vertical mounting rails and recommended mounting hardware. Route power and network cabling through available cable entry points and use cable management accessories to maintain airflow and serviceability. Lock the front door after installation to restrict physical access.

Recommendations

For optimal thermal performance, maintain clear front-to-rear airflow and use complementary APC accessories such as blanking panels, brush strip cable managers and containment solutions. Verify weight distribution and choose appropriate shelving or rails for heavy equipment; when multiple cabinets are deployed in rows, consider baying options and aisle arrangements to preserve access and cooling efficiency.
