Optický kábel Digitus inštalačný interiér/exteriér A/I-DQ (ZN) BH 50/125 µ OM3 8 vlákien

The Digitus Installation Indoor/Outdoor A/I-DQ (ZN) BH 50/125 µ OM3 8 fibers cable is a compact loose tube fibre optic cable designed for both indoor and outdoor installations. It uses OM3 50/125 µ multimode fibres in a central loose tube that accommodates 4–12 fibres, provides non-metallic rodent protection and is manufactured with LSZH materials meeting CPR Dca. The cable is intended for reliable optical transmission and physical performance in network installations and is produced under quality controls including ISO 9001; materials comply with REACh and RoHS.

Advantages

This OM3 50/125 µ loose tube cable offers high tensile strength and flexibility in a compact diameter and delivers consistent optical transmission and durable physical performance. Non-metallic rodent protection and LSZH composition reduce risk in mixed indoor/outdoor environments, while CPR Dca classification ensures compliance with fire performance requirements. The product family undergoes qualification testing to verify field reliability.

Suitable for

• Indoor and outdoor backbone and duct installations
• Multimode network links using OM3 (50/125 µ) fibres
• Data center horizontal and vertical cabling where rodent protection and LSZH are required
• Short- to medium-reach multimode applications (e.g., 10 Gbit Ethernet)

How to use

Prepare the installation route and ensure proper ducting or containment for the loose tube cable. Strip the outer sheath according to standard fibre handling procedures, carefully expose the central loose tube and access individual fibres without exceeding bend radius limits. Use appropriate fibre connectors, splicing equipment or patch panels compatible with OM3 multimode fibres. Follow manufacturer and industry best practices for strain relief and fixation to prevent mechanical stress on the fibres.

Recommendations

Install and terminate fibres in a clean, dust-free environment. Maintain the minimum bend radius specified for multimode loose tube cables, protect exposed fibres from tensile loads, and perform optical tests (insertion loss, return loss) after installation to verify performance.
