Optický kábel Helos 7,5 m OM3 LC/LC

The Helos 7.5m OM3 LC/LC fibre optic cable is a multimode patch cable with a 50 µm core diameter engineered for full duplex data transmission. With OM3 grade fibre and LC connectors on both ends, the cable supports high-speed links commonly used in data centres, server rooms and enterprise networks. Its 7.5 metre length offers installation flexibility while maintaining signal integrity over short to medium distances.

Advantages

The OM3 multimode construction provides improved bandwidth and lower modal dispersion compared with lower graded multimode fibres, enabling reliable support for 10 Gb/s and certain higher-speed applications within standard reach distances. LC/LC connectors ensure compact, high-density connections compatible with modern transceivers and patch panels. The pre-terminated design reduces installation time and potential connection errors, while the 7.5 m length balances reach with manageable cable routing.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and rack-to-rack links
• Server room connections between switches and servers
• Enterprise backbone segments for short to medium distances
• Network upgrades to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet over multimode fibre

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC (both ends)
• Duplex: Full duplex (duplex pair)
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Typical applications: 10 Gigabit Ethernet and compatible multimode links

How to use

Inspect both LC connectors for cleanliness before installation and use appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre to prevent signal attenuation. Insert the LC connectors into the corresponding ports on transceivers, switches or patch panels until the latch engages. For full duplex links, ensure correct orientation of the transmit and receive channels on each end.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled without sharp bends and protect connector ends with dust caps when not in use. For best performance in 10 Gb/s deployments, verify compatibility of connected transceivers and maintain good fibre housekeeping practices such as regular inspection and cleaning of connectors and ports.
