How to use

Connect the male XLR end to the output of the audio source (for example, a microphone or DI box) and connect the female XLR end to the input of the receiving device (mixer, preamp or audio interface). Ensure connectors are fully engaged until they click into place to maintain secure contact. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, crushing, or running alongside power cables to minimise noise pickup. For permanent or semi-permanent installations, label both ends if multiple red cables are used to simplify later identification.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m red XLR cable for short, balanced connections where clear identification and minimal signal exposure are important. Store the cable coiled without sharp bends and disconnect gently by pressing the release latch on XLR connectors to extend lifespan. For longer runs, select an appropriately longer balanced XLR cable to avoid strain or the need for adapters.
