How to use

Insert the female XLR connector onto the male XLR output of the microphone or balanced line source until it locks. Plug the 6.35 mm male jack into the instrument input, amplifier, or line-level input on a mixing desk. For best results, ensure both connected devices are powered off when making connections and power on devices after the cable is in place. When using a microphone with a balanced output, confirm the destination input supports the expected signal type to avoid improper wiring or unbalanced connections.

Recommendations

Route the cable away from power supplies, lighting DMX lines and mains cables to minimize hum and interference. Avoid sharp bends at the connector ends and do not place heavy objects on the cable to prolong service life. For long-term installations, periodically check connector contacts for corrosion and clean with appropriate contact cleaner if required.
