Mountain bikers tackling rocky singletracks and rooty descents rely on dependable tubes to keep rolling. The Author AT-MTB-26 AV32 is a 26-inch inner tube engineered for MTB tires from 1.75" to 2.125" wide, with a 32 mm Schrader (auto) valve. Its butyl rubber construction ensures excellent air retention, so you can focus on the trail ahead rather than frequent top-ups.

Key specifications

• Wheel size: 26 inch
• Tyre width compatibility: 1.75" – 2.125" (ETRTO 44/54-559)
• Valve type: Schrader (AV / auto valve)
• Valve length: 32 mm
• Material: Butyl rubber
• Weight: 180 g
• Colour: Black
• Packaging: Single unit, valve cap included

Why choose it

Butyl rubber holds air significantly better than latex, meaning fewer pressure checks and more ride time. The seamless construction reduces weak points, and the standard valve core allows easy pressure adjustments with any Schrader pump. The included valve cap keeps dirt and moisture out, prolonging valve life.

Ideal use cases

• Replacing worn or punctured tubes on 26" mountain bikes
• Keeping as a spare in a saddle bag or backpack for trailside repairs
• Riders who prefer the convenience of Schrader valves found on most car and bike pumps
