Key specifications

• Cell count: 4‑cell configuration
• Nominal voltage: 7.68 volts
• Energy capacity: 48 watt‑hours (Wh)
• Form factor: compact internal laptop battery designed for compatible Lenovo enclosures
• Chemistry: rechargeable lithium‑ion cells

How to use

Power the laptop off and disconnect the AC adapter before replacing the battery. Remove the laptop’s access panel or follow the manufacturer’s disassembly steps for your specific model to reach the battery compartment. Carefully disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard, remove the old battery and install the replacement battery in the same orientation. Reconnect the cable, secure the battery in place, reattach the access panel and power on the device. Allow the battery to charge fully through the laptop’s AC adapter before relying on battery power for extended periods.

Recommendations

To prolong battery life, avoid deep discharge cycles and store the laptop with the battery at roughly 40–60% charge if it will be unused for extended periods. Use the laptop’s power management settings to reduce screen brightness and limit background processes when longer runtime is needed. Always use the laptop manufacturer’s recommended charger and follow safety instructions for lithium‑ion batteries.
