Batoh DEUTER Aircontact Core 55+10 SL – 55 l (+10 l), 2,02 kg, čierny, unisex

DEUTER Aircontact Core 55+10 SL is a unisex hiking backpack with a 55-litre main compartment and an additional 10-litre expandable section. Designed for multi-day tours and trekking, it features a ventilated back system to improve airflow and a shaped hip belt that transfers load to the hips. With multiple adjustment points and an integrated SOS label, the pack provides organised storage and a fit adapted for shorter torso lengths.

Advantages

The ventilated back system reduces heat build-up and improves comfort on long ascents. The shaped hip belt shifts the majority of the load to the pelvis, relieving the shoulders and improving posture. The expandable volume offers packing flexibility for varying trip lengths, and the SL fit provides harness geometry suited to shorter torsos. An integrated SOS label ensures quick access to emergency information.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

The pack may be less suitable for users who require very large capacity beyond the 65 L total or who prefer a longer torso fit, as this model is the SL (short-length/ladies) version. It is also heavier than ultra-light daypacks, so it may not be ideal for minimalist hikers prioritising the lowest possible weight.

Key specifications

How to use

Adjust the shoulder straps and load lifters so the pack sits close to the upper back, then fasten and tighten the hip belt so most of the weight rests on the hips. Use the expandable section when extra capacity is needed and compress the side straps to stabilise the load. Pack heavier items low and close to the spine for a stable carry. During long hikes, regularly check and readjust straps to maintain comfort and balance, and allow airflow between the pack and your back to benefit from the ventilated system.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Distribute weight evenly with heavy items placed low and close to the centre of the pack, use the hip belt to transfer load off the shoulders, and open the expandable section only when needed to avoid unnecessary bulk. After wet conditions, ventilate and dry the pack to preserve materials and maintain ventilation performance.
