PV DC 4-pole switch, 250 A, 1000 V. A moulded-case circuit breaker for solar-power systems, providing overcurrent protection and control of DC circuits. Rated voltage up to 1000 V DC and maximum current of 250 A. It is mainly used in large solar-power installations featuring a PV combiner box, inverter and DC power-distribution cabinet, and is also suitable for EV charging stations and commercial battery-storage systems. It can be used in earthed or unearthed systems. It meets the IEC standards for protecting and isolating DC circuits up to 1000 V and from 65 A to 250 A rated operating current, protecting against overload, short circuit and infrequent operation. Tested under extreme environmental conditions from -40°C to 85°C.
