Bezdrôtový most Cambium Networks ePMP 5 GHz Force 300‑25 — 5 GHz, 25 dBi

Cambium Networks ePMP 5 GHz Force 300-25 is a directional wireless bridge that combines an integrated radio and a 25 dBi high‑gain dish antenna for point‑to‑point links in the 5 GHz band. The unit is designed for long‑range backhaul, focusing RF energy for improved link budget and reduced susceptibility to off‑axis interference. It supports typical ePMP management and modulation features to maintain stable throughput in outdoor deployments such as ISP backhaul, enterprise site interconnects and rural broadband extensions.

Advantages

The Force 300‑25 integrates radio and reflector into a single, weatherized enclosure to simplify installation and alignment. Its 25 dBi gain and narrow beamwidth concentrate signal power toward the target, improving link range and spectral efficiency while reducing interference from adjacent sectors. The device is optimized for outdoor point‑to‑point operation and is compatible with common ePMP provisioning and monitoring tools for remote management and diagnostics.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Long‑range point‑to‑point backhaul between towers or buildings
• ISP backhaul where focused, high‑gain links are required
• Enterprise site interconnection across open terrain
• Rural broadband extensions and community networks
• Temporary links for events or emergency connectivity when directional backhaul is needed

When it may not be suitable

This directional bridge is not intended for general Wi‑Fi client access or wide‑area omnidirectional coverage; its narrow beam focuses communication in a single direction. It may be less suitable in environments with frequent line‑of‑sight obstructions or where flexible multi‑sector coverage is needed rather than a dedicated point‑to‑point link.

Key specifications

• Operating frequency: 5 GHz band
• Antenna gain: 25 dBi
• Integrated directional dish antenna and radio in weatherproof enclosure
• Designed for outdoor point‑to‑point/backhaul links
• Typical narrow beamwidth suitable for focused long‑range links

How to use

Mount the unit on a mast or tower with clear line of sight to the remote endpoint, using the supplied mounting hardware. Align the dish to the opposite radio using visual aiming and link‑test procedures provided by Cambium management tools. Connect power via Power over Ethernet (PoE) if supported by the network, configure radio parameters and channel settings through the management interface, and perform throughput and stability tests. Regularly verify alignment and environmental sealing to maintain link performance.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm clear line of sight between installation points and proper tower/mast height
• Verify regulatory compliance and allowed channels/power levels in your region
• Ensure compatibility with existing ePMP network equipment and provisioning systems
• Plan for cable runs, PoE power sourcing and physical mounting requirements

Recommendations

For reliable performance, install the ePMP Force 300‑25 with precise alignment and maintain unobstructed line of sight. Use the manufacturer’s management tools for channel selection and monitoring to minimize interference and keep firmware up to date to benefit from protocol and stability improvements.
