The Turtle Beach Afterglow Wave Black is a wireless RGB gaming controller officially licensed for Nintendo Switch 2 and compatible with Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite and Switch OLED. It offers both Bluetooth wireless connectivity and a wired USB-C option with a 3 m cable, a built-in rechargeable battery providing up to 20 hours of runtime, and precision controls including a responsive D-pad and back button. Eight customizable RGB lighting zones and four preset modes let you adjust the visual appearance to match your setup or mood while integrated motion controls and TMR thumbsticks improve responsiveness and reduce stick drift during gameplay.

Advantages

The controller combines flexible connection options—Bluetooth for portable play and USB‑C for wired low-latency sessions—with a long-lasting internal battery to support extended gaming without frequent recharging. TMR thumbsticks deliver higher accuracy and durability compared with conventional potentiometer sticks. Customizable RGB lighting adds visual feedback and personalization without affecting core control performance. Official Nintendo licensing ensures tested compatibility with supported consoles.

Maintain battery life by fully charging before long sessions and store the controller in a cool, dry place. Update console firmware as needed to ensure full compatibility.
