How to use

Install the wired cameras at the chosen outdoor locations using standard mounting hardware and connect them via BNC to the recorder. Power the recorder and follow the quick set-up wizard in the Yale View App to add the system to your smartphone. Configure motion detection and image masking areas to reduce false alerts, set retention preferences for the 1 TB storage, and enable customised encryption in the app if secure streams are required. Use the app for live viewing, receiving alert notifications and performing intelligent searches of recorded footage.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, mount cameras in stable positions with clear lines of sight, maintain cable runs to avoid water ingress, and ensure the recorder is placed in a ventilated, secure location. Use image masking to comply with privacy considerations and schedule regular checks of recorded footage to verify system operation.
