Why choose it

The Rapide SL Insulated strikes an ideal balance between warmth, weight, and packability. The recycled PrimaLoft Silver insulation traps heat efficiently, while the offset I-beam construction eliminates cold spots and provides a stable sleeping surface. The dual-port valve lets you inflate the pad quickly with the included pump sack and deflate it in seconds when breaking camp. A pillow baffle helps keep your camp pillow in place through the night.

Ideal use cases

• Three-season backpacking and thru-hiking
• Cold-weather camping where extra insulation is needed
• Side sleepers who want extra cushioning
• Taller users who need the 78-inch length

Good to know

The pad comes with a repair kit and spare valve seal, so you can handle minor punctures in the field. The tapered rectangular shape saves weight without sacrificing comfort. Pair it with a Big Agnes insulated tent or bivy for a complete sleep system.
