Blok umeleckého papiera Pelikan 224840

The Pelikan 224840 Art Paper Pad contains 20 sheets of high-quality art paper designed for a variety of artistic techniques. The paper surface supports dry media such as pencils, charcoal and pastels, as well as light wet techniques like watercolor washes and ink sketches. Sheets are bound in a pad format that keeps pages flat and protected until use, making it suitable for classroom projects, home practice and portable sketching.

Advantages

The paper offers a balanced tooth that accepts both fine detail and softer shading, while resisting excessive buckling with light washes. Pages are thick enough to prevent significant bleed-through from inks and markers in typical student use. The pad format provides convenient storage and transport, and the neutral tone of the sheets ensures accurate color representation for pigments and graphite.

Suitable for

• Sketching with graphite and colored pencils
• Charcoal and pastel studies
• Light watercolor washes and ink drawings
• School art projects and practice exercises
• Hobbyist illustrations and mixed-media exploration

Key specifications

• 20 sheets per pad
• Paper weight suitable for mixed media student work
• Neutral sheet tone for accurate color rendering
• Textured surface with moderate tooth
• Pad binding to keep sheets flat and protected

How to use

Select sheets from the pad and work on a stable, flat surface. For dry techniques such as pencil, charcoal or pastel, use light layers and fixative if needed to preserve finished work. For light wet media, apply washes sparingly and allow sheets to dry flat to minimize warping; heavier applications may require separate watercolor paper. When removing a sheet, support the edge to avoid bending, and store completed works flat or in a portfolio to maintain condition.

Recommendations

Use the Pelikan art pad for classroom assignments, sketchbook practice and quick studies. For best results with water-based media, test a small area first and avoid heavy saturation. Store the pad in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight to preserve paper quality.
