Tips

When packing for a multi-day alpine route, place heavy items close to your back and use the compression straps to prevent shifting. Remove the aluminum stay for lightweight summit pushes, and utilize the daisy chains to secure crampons or a helmet. The snow-shedding back panel is a game-changer in wet conditions—give it a quick shake before putting the pack on to avoid a cold back.
