BlueLAN 2m 40G QSFP na 4x 10G SFP+ pasívny priamy breakout kábel, kompatibilný s Centec (CAB-Q-S-2M-CT-BL)

This BlueLAN passive breakout DAC splits a 40G QSFP port into four independent 10G SFP+ links, making it a practical alternative to four separate direct-attach cables when connecting a Centec switch to multiple 10G devices. The 30 AWG copper conductors keep the cable flexible for a 2-meter run, and because it is passive, it adds no power draw or heat inside the rack.

Highlights

• Aggregate 40 Gbps bandwidth, broken out as 4×10 Gbps SFP+ lanes
• Passive copper design: no transceivers, no power, near-zero latency
• QSFP connector on one end, four SFP+ connectors on the other
• 30 AWG wire gauge balances flexibility with signal integrity over 2 m
• Hot-pluggable and compliant with SFF-8436 and SFF-8431

In daily use

This cable is suited to dense 10G aggregation in data centers, HPC clusters, and storage networks. The breakout end fans out cleanly to four servers or appliances, reducing cable clutter compared to individual DACs. Because it is passive, it works only with ports that support passive copper signalling; check your Centec switch documentation for compatibility.
