Aktívny optický kábel CBO QSFP-100G-AOC-5M 5 m pre Huawei QSFP+ 100G

The Active Optical Cable CBO QSFP-100G-AOC-5M is a 5-meters QSFP+ 100G AOC designed for use with Huawei QSFP+ ports. It provides a direct optical link for server-to-switch and switch-to-switch connections, delivering a 100 Gigabit data path over multimode optical fiber. The cable reduces electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives and is intended for short-reach, high-bandwidth interconnects in data center and enterprise network environments.

Advantages

This 5 m QSFP+ AOC offers a high-bandwidth 100G link with low latency and stable signal integrity. As an active optical cable, it integrates transceivers and optical fiber in a single assembly, which simplifies installation and reduces the need for separate transceiver modules. The optical construction lowers susceptibility to EMI and crosstalk, while the QSFP+ form factor maintains compact port density suitable for top-of-rack and aggregation switches.

Suitable for

• Short-reach server-to-switch connections in racks
• Switch-to-switch interconnects within a data hall or equipment room
• High-performance computing (HPC) clusters requiring 100G trunk links
• Enterprise aggregation links and top-of-rack uplinks

Key specifications

• Connector type: QSFP+ (quad small form-factor pluggable)
• Data rate: 100 Gigabit per second
• Cable length: 5 meters
• Media: active optical cable with integrated transceivers
• Reach: short-reach multimode optical link suitable for intra-rack and intra-room connections
• Latency: low, designed for minimal added delay in high-throughput links

How to use

Insert each QSFP+ connector into the corresponding Huawei QSFP+ port until it latches. Ensure both ends are seated properly and that link LEDs or management interfaces indicate an active 100G connection. On powered systems, confirm interface settings such as speed and lanes in the switch or server operating system and adjust link aggregation or routing as required. Handle the cable by the connector boot and avoid tight bends; follow standard electrostatic discharge precautions when installing near sensitive equipment.

Recommendations

Use this 5 m QSFP+ AOC for short, fixed-path connections inside racks or between adjacent racks. Maintain a minimum bend radius consistent with the cable specification, avoid repeated flexing, and store spare lengths coiled without kinks. Verify port compatibility with Huawei QSFP+ interfaces and check firmware or vendor compatibility lists if using advanced features such as link training or lane mapping.
