Aktívny optický kábel CBO SFP28-AOC-30M 30 m SFP28 pre 25-Gbit/s pripojenia

Active Optical Cable CBO SFP28-AOC-30M is a 30 metre SFP28-form-factor cable engineered for 25 Gbps links between switches, routers and servers. The cable integrates optical transceivers and multimode fibre in a single assembly to deliver low-latency, high-bandwidth connections for short- to medium-range interconnects in data centres and enterprise racks. Its plug-and-play SFP28 connectors reduce cabling complexity and installation time compared with separate transceivers plus fibre patch cords.

Advantages

The SFP28-AOC-30M provides a compact, ready-to-use solution for 25 Gbps connectivity with lower power consumption and simplified deployment compared to discrete transceiver-plus-fibre setups. Integrated optics eliminate the need for separate fibre termination and reduce potential points of failure, while the single-cable design improves rack cable management. The fixed 30 m length ensures predictable signal characteristics for short- and medium-distance links within and between racks.

Suitable for

• 25 Gbps switch-to-switch or switch-to-server connections in data centres
• Aggregation and spine-leaf interconnects in enterprise networks
• High-density rack deployments requiring simplified cable routing
• Server farms and hyperconverged infrastructure with SFP28 ports

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 form factor with integrated optical cable
• Nominal data rate: 25 Gbps
• Cable length: 30 metres
• Transmission medium: active optical link (integrated optics and fibre)
• Typical use distance: short to medium range inter-rack and intra-rack links
• Compatibility: designed for devices with SFP28 ports supporting 25 Gbps

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on the network devices until the latch engages. Ensure devices are powered and configured to recognise 25 Gbps SFP28 links; most modern switches and servers will auto-negotiate the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain, maintaining the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. No separate transceivers or fibre patch panels are required, which simplifies commissioning and reduces cable handling steps.

Recommendations

Use the cable within the specified 30 m distance for reliable 25 Gbps performance. Avoid tight bends, excessive pulling force or crush loads on the cable. Verify compatibility with host equipment firmware and vendor support policies for third-party AOC modules when deploying in production environments.
