AOC aktívny optický kábel CBO SFP28-AOC-1M dĺžka 1 m pre SFP28 porty

The AOC SFP28-AOC-1M is a 1 meter Active Optical Cable designed for direct connection between devices with SFP28 ports. It supports 25Gbps-class links over a compact fiber-optic assembly, offering lower latency and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with copper assemblies. The cable is intended for short-reach interconnects in data centers, server racks and switch-to-switch links where lightweight, space-saving cabling and consistent high-speed transmission are required.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers high-speed 25Gbps-class connectivity in a small form factor suitable for densely populated equipment racks. Its optical construction reduces signal loss and susceptibility to electromagnetic interference, providing stable links in environments with many electronic devices. The cable’s 1 meter length minimizes excess slack and improves airflow management while remaining flexible and easy to route in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Short-reach connections between SFP28-equipped switches and routers
• Inter-rack and intra-rack links in data centres
• Server-to-switch connections in high-density rack deployments
• Low-latency, high-bandwidth links for storage and compute clusters

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 optical connectors on both ends
• Supported data rate: 25 Gbit/s class transmission
• Length: 1 meter
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC)
• Physical characteristics: compact, lightweight, flexible fiber assembly suitable for dense cabling
• Environment: designed for short-reach deployment inside racks and data centre pathways

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on the network devices until the connector latch engages. Ensure devices are powered and configured to recognize SFP28 modules or cables; some systems may require firmware or driver support for active optical cables. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment manufacturer. After installation, verify link status and data rate through device management interfaces.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the cable for short-reach connections within racks and between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force during installation. Confirm device compatibility and required firmware or driver support for SFP28 active optical cables before deployment.
