AOC kábel CBO QSFP-100G-AOC-20M — 100G aktívny optický QSFP kábel, dĺžka 20 m

AOC cable CBO QSFP-100G-AOC-20M is a 20-meter active optical QSFP cable designed for 100G links between networking equipment. The cable uses a QSFP form factor to connect QSFP ports on switches, routers and servers and supports full 100 gigabit-per-second data rates with low latency. As an active optical cable, it reduces electromagnetic interference and heat compared with comparable copper assemblies and simplifies cabling in rack and campus environments by providing a single, factory-terminated optical link.

Advantages

This 100G active optical QSFP cable offers high-bandwidth transmission over a 20 m distance while maintaining signal integrity and low power consumption. Its QSFP form factor ensures compatibility with standard QSFP ports, and the integrated optical transceivers eliminate the need for separate SFP/QSFP modules. The optical medium reduces crosstalk and EMI, enabling stable performance in dense rack installations and data centers.

Suitable for

• Inter-rack and intra-rack connections in data centers requiring 100G throughput
• Direct links between QSFP-enabled switches, routers and high-performance servers
• Campus backbone segments where 20 m fibre runs provide optimal routing

Key specifications

• Form factor: QSFP (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable)
• Data rate: 100 Gbps
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Length: 20 meters
• Latency: Low-latency optical transmission suitable for high-performance networking
• Electromagnetic characteristics: Immune to electromagnetic interference compared to copper

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each QSFP connector into the corresponding QSFP port on your networking devices, ensuring the connectors align with the port keys and retaining latches. No external transceivers are required; the AOC integrates optical interfaces within the cable ends. After physical installation, verify link status through your device management interface and confirm 100G negotiation and traffic flow. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, maintain a minimum bend radius as specified by the manufacturer, avoid kinking or crushing the cable, and keep connectors free from dust. Use the cable in compatible QSFP ports rated for 100G operation and verify firmware and port settings on switches and routers to ensure proper link negotiation. For dense installations, plan cable routing to minimize stress on connectors and to preserve airflow in racks.
