BlueOptics ATZ0-BO InfiniBand/optický kábel 7 m SFP+ konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics ATZ0-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 7 m SFP+ Male/Male is a multimode fibre link designed for high-speed network connections. With SFP+ compatible male connectors on both ends and a 7-metre length, this cable supports short-range, low-latency data transfer between switches, servers and storage units in data centres and enterprise networks. The construction and connector type make it suitable for use where reliable optical connectivity and predictable signal integrity are required.

Advantages

This 7 m fibre optic cable provides consistent signal quality and supports high data rates typical for SFP+ interfaces. The male-to-male SFP+ configuration offers plug-and-play compatibility with SFP+ ports on InfiniBand adapters and compatible optical transceivers. Its fibre construction minimizes electromagnetic interference and enables stable long-term connections in dense rack and cabling environments.

How to use

Ensure both devices have compatible SFP+ optical ports and any required transceivers are installed. Orient each SFP+ connector correctly and insert it into the optical port until it clicks into place. Route the 7 m fibre cable to avoid tight bends or kinks and secure it to cable management paths to prevent strain on the connectors. Verify link status on connected devices and confirm negotiated speed and signal integrity through device management interfaces.

Recommendations

Handle the fibre cable and SFP+ connectors with care: avoid bending below the manufacturers' minimum bend radius, keep connector endfaces clean using appropriate cleaning tools, and inspect connections if link signals are intermittent. Use cable management to reduce mechanical stress and maintain consistent performance in rack-mounted environments.
