CBO AOC kábel SFP28-AOC-20M-UQ-BO, aktívny optický kábel, dĺžka 20 m pre SFP28 porty

Active optical cable CBO AOC SFP28-AOC-20M-UQ-BO is a 20-meter optical interconnect designed for use with SFP28 ports and 25Gbps links. The cable provides a fiber-based connection between compatible SFP28 network devices, replacing copper twinax assemblies for short- to mid-range links. Its construction reduces electromagnetic interference and lowers weight, making it suitable for dense rack environments and data center topologies that require reliable high-speed connectivity.

Advantages

The active optical design supports 25Gbps per channel while maintaining signal integrity over 20 meters, enabling consistent throughput between switches, servers and storage devices. Reduced electromagnetic interference compared with copper twinax improves link stability in electrically noisy environments. The lightweight, flexible assembly simplifies cable management in server racks and helps maintain airflow. Plug-and-play compatibility with SFP28 ports avoids the need for transceivers and separate fiber patch cords.

Suitable for

• Short- to mid-range 25Gbps connections between switches and servers
• Interconnects within data center racks and cabinets
• High-density network deployments where cable weight and routing matter
• Environments sensitive to electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Interface: SFP28-compatible on both ends for 25Gbps links
• Length: 20 meters
• Transmission rate: 25Gbps per channel
• Cable type: active optical assembly (AOC) with fiber-based conductors
• Form factor: compact, SFP28 connector housing for direct port insertion
• Application: short- to mid-range data center interconnects and server rack connections

How to use

Install the AOC by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your network devices until the latch engages. Ensure devices are powered down or follow hot-swap procedures recommended by the device vendor if inserting under power. After connection, verify link status and speed on both devices. No separate transceivers or additional fiber patch cords are required—this assembly provides an integrated optical link. Handle connectors by the housing to avoid touching the optical interfaces and route the cable to avoid sharp bends or excessive strain.

Recommendations

Avoid tight bends and excessive tensile stress; maintain the manufacturer's minimum bend radius and secure the cable to prevent movement. Keep connector end faces clean and covered when not in use; use appropriate cleaning tools if contamination is suspected. Verify compatibility with device SFP28 slot firmware or driver requirements prior to deployment.
