CBO AOC Lenovo SFP-AOC-10G-50M 10G SFP+ aktívny optický kábel, 50 m

The CBO AOC Lenovo SFP-AOC-10G-50M is a 10G SFP+ active optical cable designed to connect SFP+ ports over a 50‑metre multimode link. Engineered for compatibility with Lenovo SFP+ networking equipment and other devices supporting standard SFP+ AOC interfaces, this cable provides 10 Gbps full-duplex data transfer with low latency and stable performance over OM3/OM4 fibre infrastructure. By integrating optical transceivers into a single assembly, it removes the need for separate transceivers and fibre patch cords, simplifying installation and reducing component count in dense rack environments.

Advantages

This 50 m active optical cable offers 10 Gbps throughput with low power consumption and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives. The integrated SFP+ modules ensure plug-and-play operation with compatible SFP+ ports and improve signal integrity over longer distances than equivalent copper DACs. The cable’s construction is optimized for data centre environments and high-density topologies, providing a compact and flexible interconnect solution that helps maintain consistent link quality across server and switch connections.

Suitable for

• Top-of-rack and end-of-row switch-to-server connections in data centres
• High-speed uplinks between switches and aggregation devices
• Inter-rack links where a 50 m multimode optical path is required
• Environments needing low-latency 10G connectivity with simplified cabling

Key specifications

• Interface: SFP+ active optical cable (integrated transceivers)
• Data rate: 10 Gbps full duplex
• Length: 50 metres
• Compatible multimode fibre: OM3/OM4
• Form factor: SFP+ plug-in connectors on both ends
• Typical use: Short to mid-range data centre interconnects

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on the network devices until the latch engages. Ensure devices are powered and configured to accept SFP+ AOC modules; the cable should be detected as a standard 10G link. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress, maintaining the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for active optical assemblies. Verify link status and speed via the network device management interface and monitor for optical or link alarms during initial operation.

Recommendations

Use this active optical cable in OM3/OM4 multimode fibre environments and avoid exposure to excessive heat or physical strain. For high-density installations, label both ends and secure cables with appropriate management hardware to maintain airflow and serviceability. Check device compatibility lists before deployment to confirm plug-and-play operation with your Lenovo SFP+ ports.
