SFP+ AOC kábel CBO SFP-AOC-10G-20M 10 Gbit/s aktívny optický kábel, 20 m

CBO SFP-AOC-10G-20M is a 20‑meter SFP+ active optical cable (AOC) that supports 10 Gbps links for short‑range high‑speed interconnects. Intended for use with SFP+ ports, this fixed‑length optical cable provides low‑latency, electrically isolated connections between servers, switches and storage systems. The AOC design eliminates the need for separate transceivers and copper twinax runs, simplifying cabling in data centers and network racks while reducing electromagnetic interference and heat generation.

Advantages

The cable delivers full 10 Gbps throughput over a 20 m distance with low latency and stable signal integrity. Its active optical construction ensures immunity to electromagnetic interference and enables longer reach than equivalent copper assemblies. The integrated SFP+ connectors are hot‑pluggable and compatible with standard SFP+ ports, allowing straightforward replacement and installation in dense rack environments. The fixed length and lightweight fiber design reduce rack clutter and improve airflow compared with copper alternatives.

Suitable for

• Short‑reach server-to-switch or switch-to-switch connections in data centers
• Interconnects between storage arrays and network switches
• High‑density rack environments where compact, low‑EMI cabling is required

Key specifications

• Interface type: SFP+ active optical cable (AOC)
• Data rate: 10 Gbps
• Length: 20 meters
• Latency: low, suitable for latency‑sensitive links
• Connector: SFP+ compatible hot‑pluggable ends
• Electrical characteristics: optically isolated, immune to EMI
• Operating environment: designed for data center and rack use

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the matching SFP+ port on your network devices until the latch engages. Ensure both ends are seated firmly and that connected devices are powered and configured for 10 Gbps operation. No separate transceivers or fiber patch cords are required; the AOC provides an integrated optical link. Verify link status through device LEDs or management software and confirm negotiated speed and duplex where applicable.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive strain on the connectors, maintaining the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Use proper cable management in racks to preserve airflow and reduce the risk of damage. Verify compatibility with SFP+ ports on your equipment and confirm firmware or vendor interoperability notes if using multi‑vendor devices.
