SFP+ transceiver CBO SFP-10G-BX-U 10G optický jednovláknový bidirekcionálny modul

CBO SFP-10G-BX-U is an SFP+ fiber optic transceiver module that supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet data rates over a single optical fiber using bidirectional (BiDi) transmission. The module is designed for use in standard SFP+ ports on switches, routers and servers and enables high-speed links while reducing fiber infrastructure by using one strand for both transmit and receive. Its compact SFP+ form factor supports hot-swap installation to simplify upgrades and maintenance in data centers and enterprise networks.

Advantages

The SFP+ transceiver delivers 10 Gbps throughput with single-strand bidirectional capability, allowing efficient use of existing fiber cabling. Its compact form factor permits hot-plug replacement without powering down the host device, reducing downtime. The module is compatible with industry-standard SFP+ ports and is suitable for point-to-point links where space and fiber count are limited. The design supports stable optical performance for reliable data transmission over the specified link distances.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit links between switches and routers in data centers
• High-speed uplinks from servers to aggregation switches
• Long-reach or campus backbone connections using single-strand fiber
• Network upgrades where reducing fiber count is required

Key specifications

• Data rate: 10 Gigabit Ethernet
• Form factor: SFP+ (hot-pluggable)
• Optical mode: single-strand bidirectional (BiDi)
• Connector type: single-fiber LC-compatible interface
• Application: point-to-point 10G fiber links between network devices

How to use

Insert the CBO SFP-10G-BX-U module into an available SFP+ slot on a switch, router or server until it clicks into place. Connect the single-strand fiber cable with the appropriate LC connectors, ensuring that the transmit and receive ends are paired according to the module’s wavelength plan. The module supports hot-swap operation, so it can be installed or removed while the host device remains powered. Verify link status and speed through the host device management interface and monitor optical receive power to confirm correct alignment and link quality.

Recommendations

Use the module with compatible SFP+ ports and single-strand fiber cabling designed for bidirectional transmission. Confirm transmit/receive wavelength pairing on both ends of the link and follow vendor guidelines for supported link distances and fiber types. Regularly check optical power levels and device firmware to maintain reliable 10G connectivity.
