BNC adaptér ShiverPeaks 98820 — 1 BNC konektor samec na 2 BNC konektor samica rozbočovač

ShiverPeaks 98820 is a compact BNC adapter that splits one BNC male connection into two BNC female sockets. The passive splitter provides a simple mechanical solution for distributing a single coaxial signal to two devices without the need for power or active components. The adapter is compatible with standard RG58-style BNC connectors and is intended for monitoring, CCTV, laboratory test setups, and audio/video applications where a passive T-connection is acceptable.

Advantages

The adapter offers a space-saving, low-cost method to duplicate a BNC feed into two outputs while maintaining the familiar BNC bayonet coupling for secure connections. As a passive device it avoids introducing additional electronics that could require power or configuration. Its metal construction ensures mechanical stability and reliable contact for repeated connections and disconnections.

Suitable for

• Splitting a video feed for CCTV monitors and recorders
• Duplicating test signals in laboratory or bench environments
• Connecting multiple audio/video diagnostic tools to one source
• Temporary signal routing and monitoring during installations or maintenance

Key specifications

• Connection type: 1 BNC male to 2 BNC female
• Design: passive mechanical splitter (no active electronics)
• Cable compatibility: designed for RG58-style coaxial connections
• Construction: metal housing for mechanical durability
• Use environment: indoor use for monitoring, test benches and AV setups

How to use

Insert the BNC male connector of the adapter into the source device's BNC output by aligning the bayonet pins and rotating until it locks. Connect the two BNC female sockets to the downstream coaxial cables or devices by pushing the male plugs into the female sockets and turning to engage the bayonet. No power or configuration is required. Verify signal presence on both outputs after connection; for sensitive measurements consider the passive splitter's effect on signal amplitude and impedance.

Recommendations

Use this passive splitter for distribution and monitoring tasks where signal attenuation and potential impedance mismatch are acceptable. For long cable runs, critical measurements, or impedance-sensitive systems, consider using an active splitter or a buffered distribution amplifier to preserve signal integrity.
