BNC koaxiálny konektor ShiverPeaks BS98802-1

The ShiverPeaks BS98802-1 is a BNC coaxial connector designed for RG-59 U cables, supplied as a single piece per pack. It provides a standard bayonet-type connection for audio and video equipment, CCTV systems and other low-frequency coaxial applications where a compact, secure connector is required. The connector is suitable for creating or repairing coaxial cable assemblies and for maintaining signal integrity in short- to medium-length runs.

Advantages

This BNC connector offers a reliable mechanical bayonet locking mechanism that prevents accidental disconnection while allowing quick mating and unmating. It is built to fit RG-59 U coaxial cable dimensions, ensuring proper impedance match and consistent contact for analog and digital video signals. Supplied as a single unit, it is convenient for on-site repairs or small-scale installations and helps restore cable connectivity without replacing entire cables.

Suitable for

• CCTV and surveillance camera connections
• Analog and standard-definition video transmission
• Audio-visual test equipment and signal routing
• Repairing or assembling RG-59 U coaxial cables

Key specifications

• Connector type: BNC (bayonet)
• Cable compatibility: RG-59 U coaxial cable
• Pack quantity: 1 piece
• Typical use: low-frequency video and audio signal transmission
• Contact configuration: single coaxial contact

How to use

Prepare the RG-59 U cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to the dimensions appropriate for BNC termination. Insert the cable into the connector body so that the inner conductor seats in the central contact and the braid makes secure contact with the connector sleeve. Engage the bayonet coupling by aligning the lugs and twisting until it locks. Verify the mechanical connection and, if available, check signal continuity or video output to confirm correct installation.

Recommendations

Use appropriate stripping tools to avoid nicking the inner conductor or damaging the dielectric. For critical video installations, confirm impedance continuity with suitable test equipment to reduce reflections and signal loss. If frequent disconnection is expected, inspect the connector periodically for wear and replace it if mechanical or electrical contact degrades.
