The Bosch 2 608 620 738 polishing pad set contains six high-quality polishing pads designed to deliver consistent surface finishes. Compatible with Bosch sanders, the pads are intended for finishing and polishing operations on a range of materials. Each pad is made to be durable and easy to mount, enabling repeatable results during sanding and polishing tasks.

Advantages

These polishing pads offer uniform contact with the workpiece for even material removal and gloss development. The pads are constructed to withstand repeated use while maintaining shape and performance. Their attachment system is simple to engage and release, reducing downtime when changing accessories. The set covers multiple polishing needs, making it a practical complement to Bosch sanding tools.

Suitable for

• Polishing and finishing wood surfaces
• Restoring paint and clearcoat on automotive panels
• Smoothing and shining metal and composite surfaces
• Final passes after sanding drywall or filler

Key specifications

• Quantity in set: 6 polishing pads
• Compatibility: designed for use with Bosch orbital and detail sanders
• Material properties: resilient foam/abrasive interface for uniform pressure distribution
• Intended use: finishing, polishing, and light buffing
• Attachment type: quick-fit connection suitable for compatible sanding tools

How to use

Select the appropriate pad from the set for the desired finish and attach it to the backing plate of a compatible Bosch sander following the tool manufacturer’s guidance. Start work at a low speed to check pad behavior and surface interaction, then increase speed as needed while maintaining steady pressure and motion. Keep the sander moving to avoid localized overheating or removal of too much material. After use, clean the pad according to the material type to extend service life and store the pads flat in a dry place.

Recommendations

Use these pads with matching polishing compounds and progressively finer pads or abrasives for best results. Inspect pads regularly for wear and replace when compression or damage affects contact uniformity. Avoid excessive pressure and high speed on sensitive finishes to prevent burn marks or surface distortion.
