Bosch GSS 18V-13 Professional akumulátorová excentrická brúska

The Bosch GSS 18V-13 PROFESSIONAL is a cordless random orbital sander designed for general sanding and finishing tasks. Powered by an 18V battery system (battery not included), it delivers variable idle speeds from 6,000 to 10,000 RPM and an oscillation rate of 12,000 OPM to handle a range of materials and surface conditions. The tool features easy abrasive attachment via clamp or Velcro, a compact ergonomic body and a color scheme in black, blue and red. Its compact footprint (131 mm width, 226 mm depth, 110 mm height) and a weight of approximately 1.1 kg make it suitable for both overhead work and extended periods of use.

Advantages

The variable speed control and high oscillation rate allow precise surface removal and smooth finishing across wood, painted surfaces and composite materials. The cordless design provides improved mobility and access in workplaces without immediate power outlets. A dual fixing system for sanding media — clamp and Velcro — ensures quick paper changes and secure attachment during operation. Compact dimensions and a relatively low weight contribute to user comfort and easier handling in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Surface preparation and paint removal on wood and metal
• Fine finishing and smoothing of furniture and cabinetry
• Sanding between coats of varnish or lacquer
• Detail sanding in tight or overhead locations
• Portable sanding tasks at job sites without mains power

• Idle speed: 6,000–10,000 RPM (variable)
• Oscillation rate: 12,000 OPM
• Weight: approx. 1.1 kg
• Dimensions (W × D × H): 131 × 226 × 110 mm

How to use

Fit a compatible sanding pad or abrasive disc using the clamp or Velcro fixing, ensuring it is centred and securely attached. Select the appropriate speed for the material and grit: lower speeds for fine finishing and higher speeds for faster material removal. Hold the sander with a firm, even pressure and move it in overlapping passes across the workpiece; avoid applying excessive force to prevent gouging or premature pad wear. For detailed areas, use controlled, shorter strokes. After use, remove the abrasive, clean dust outlets and store the tool with the battery disconnected.

Recommendations

Use suitable personal protective equipment such as eye protection, dust mask and hearing protection when sanding. Match abrasive grit to the task and progress gradually from coarse to fine grits for best results. Ensure the battery is charged and appropriate for Bosch 18V systems; consult the battery and charger documentation for compatibility and charging guidance. For prolonged dust control and improved surface quality, use a compatible dust extraction or a vacuum adapter if available.
