Brúsny tanier Metabo 624061000

The Metabo 624061000 sanding disc backing pad is a round backing plate for rotary sanders and grinders. With an 8 cm diameter and a compact, single-piece design in black, the pad provides a firm contact surface for hook-and-loop or adhesive sanding discs and helps maintain even pressure and control during sanding tasks. Constructed from durable materials, it is intended for repeated use in general-purpose sanding and surface preparation.

Advantages

This backing pad combines a compact 8 cm diameter with a balanced construction that supports consistent sanding performance. Its robust build resists deformation during use, while the surface accommodates common sanding disc attachment systems. The compact size improves access to tighter areas and reduces user fatigue compared with larger pads.

Suitable for

• Sanding and smoothing wood surfaces and edges
• Rust and paint removal on metal parts
• Surface preparation before painting or finishing
• Sanding in confined spaces and on small components

Key specifications

• Shape: Round
• Diameter: 80 mm (8 cm)
• Color: Black
• Material: Durable composite suitable for backing pad use
• Sold as: Single unit

How to use

Attach the backing pad to a compatible rotary sander or grinder according to the machine manufacturer's instructions. Fit the appropriate sanding disc to the pad using the disc's fastening system (hook-and-loop or adhesive) and ensure it is centered and secure. Start at low speed to confirm correct alignment and then proceed with sanding using even, controlled passes. Avoid excessive side pressure to prevent premature wear on the pad and sanding disc.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, dust mask and hearing protection when sanding. Select a sanding disc grit matched to the task and check the backing pad regularly for wear or damage; replace the pad if cracks, deformation, or significant wear are visible. Follow the rotary tool's speed recommendations to maintain safe and effective operation.
